At Purple Silk Music Education Foundation, we are proud to partner with Yu Ming Charter School campuses through our Artists in Schools program, bringing high-quality, culturally rooted music education directly into the school day. Our professional teaching artists lead engaging, hands-on lessons that introduce students to traditional Chinese instruments and music, creating meaningful connections to culture, history, and artistic expression.

Through this program, students develop foundational musicianship, teamwork, and confidence while exploring their creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to align with Yu Ming’s mission of fostering global competence and cultural understanding, enriching students’ educational experience both inside and outside the classroom.
