Pedro Gonzales
Pedro Gonzales is a flute and wind specialist from the San Francisco Bay area. Having played for 20 years with many different styles and genres he is considered by many a staple virtuoso.
Inheriting the flute from his late uncle, family has considered him a carrier of tradition from the past generation of musicians.
Early on Pedro played in school bands in the east bay, traveling to Canada, Los Angeles, and eventually New York to perform in Carnegie Hall.
After high school he studied musical performance at Diablo Valley College, where he refined his skills and expanded his connections in the musical world.
Since then he has performed at various venues in the bay area, traveling occasionally and recording with many fortified artists.
As a teacher Pedro gives private lessons, with a past in counseling for summer camps and being the oldest cousin of many he loves to work with kids and does so with care and dedication.
